Roskomnadzor demanded to remove the soundtracks of songs from the movie "Hands up!"

Roskomnadzor (RCN) sent a notification to the online cinemas Kinopoisk, Start, Ivi and Premier about the removal of the soundtracks of the songs that were included in the film "Hands Up!" (2024). This was reported in the department.

On December 3-5, the Moscow City Court, at the request of Top 7 Company LLC, imposed security measures for each online cinema to protect the exclusive rights to the phonograms of the songs "Alien Lips", "Don't stay at home", "My Baby", "Without Love", "Song", "Girl", "Ugly", "Well where are you, girls?", "Only dreaming about you," which are also used in the film, RIA Novosti clarifies.

The department said that based on the decision of the Moscow City Court, notifications were sent to four online cinemas about the need to remove the mentioned soundtracks of songs playing in the film "Hands Up!".

According to Russian law, illegally posted information must be deleted within three working days after the notification is sent, the RCN emphasized.

As EADaily reported, the film "Hands up!" directed by Azkar Uzabayev was released on October 10 this year. The picture tells about how Sergey Zhukov, from a timid provincial youth, becomes one of the most sought-after artists of the country and the voice of a whole generation. The leader of the band "Hands up!" wrote the music for this film.
