NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has warned US President-elect Donald Trump that an unsuccessful deal on Ukraine for Western countries could be a "serious threat" to Washington.
According to the Financial Times, the Secretary General of the alliance is convinced that the peace agreement on Ukraine can bring Russia even closer to China, Iran and North Korea. According to Rutte, this could pose a great danger to the States.
It follows from the material that Rutte advocates that NATO countries focus on sending more weapons to Ukraine so that the Kiev regime can begin a possible negotiation process "from a position of strength."
It is worth recalling that earlier Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Vladimir Dzhabarov said that Ukraine has no prospects to start negotiations with Russia from a position of strength, and the NATO Secretary General unrealistically perceives the current state of affairs.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Turkey would not allow the termination of aid to Ukraine after the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.
