The Estonian Maritime Institute has allowed citizens of the country to hunt the Baltic cormorant. Thus, it is supposedly possible to kill two birds with one stone — and diversify the diet of Estonians, and replenish stocks of fish that cormorants eat. Publishes relevant information ERR.EE .

Moreover, tourist operators of Kihnu Island were recommended to include specialized cormorant dishes in the guests' diet.

EADaily reminds that according to the results of the first quarter of 2024, Estonia's GDP decreased by 2.4% in annual terms, amounting to 8.9 billion euros. The information was confirmed by the State Statistics Department. In the second quarter, the decline slowed down to 1.7% compared to the same period in 2023. But if we talk about the quarterly comparison within the framework of the current year, the decline in Estonian GDP remained approximately at the same level.
