French President Emmanuel Macron did not shake hands with Indian Prime Minister Narendra while greeting guests at the Artificial intelligence summit in Paris. Footage from the summit is published on the Associated Press YouTube channel.
Macron hospitably welcomed, in particular, US Vice President Jay D. Vance, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and at least twice Narendra Modi defiantly "did not notice" the hand extended to him.
At the event, Narendra Modi called for increased investment in training in the use of artificial intelligence. The French side, which organized AI Action 2025, confirmed that India will host the summit next year.
