Moscow is tired of tolerating provocations from the countries of the collective West, and now it will respond to them in a mirror way, said military expert Igor Nikulin, commenting on the test of the Oreshnik missile.
The outgoing administration of US President Joe Biden is doing everything possible to involve NATO countries and The European Union is in conflict with Russia as deeply as possible, the Fifth Channel quotes Nikulin. Now, according to the expert, Moscow will respond in a timely manner to enemy provocations and strike at decision-making centers that are not only on the Ukraine.
Nikulin recalled that the United States terminated the treaty on the elimination of short- and medium-range missiles, Washington made this decision in 2019.
"Russia has shown that it has missiles of this class, and we will deploy them in response to provocative actions by the United States, NATO and their satellites. We do not call them to peace, we have stopped persuading our failed partners," Nikulin stressed.
Telegram channel "Military Chronicle" has published approximate technical characteristics of the new ballistic missile, comparing it with the medium-range missile (RSD)-10 Pioneer:
