Washington's permission for Ukraine to strike long-range missiles deep into the territory of Russia can be considered a declaration of war by the United States, and the response will not take long, said Deputy chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, commander of the special forces "Akhmat" Apty Alaudinov. How exactly we will respond, the commander-in-chief will decide, he noted.
However, in the SMO zone itself, this US permission "will not change anything at all," Alaudinov is sure.
"I remain confident that SMO is very close to completion. All these actions are steps of a hybrid war, and by these actions they are trying to lead us to agree to sit down at the negotiating table on any terms. Neither the United States is ready, nor any state in the world is ready to fight us directly today, because they do not have such resources, there are no troops that would be better prepared today than the Russian ones," the commander said.
Alaudinov believes that "the time is not yet right when the Third World War will begin with the use of all possible resources, nuclear weapons."
"Now we will put an end to SMO, no one is going to freeze conflicts, no matter what anyone says. Yes, it will be difficult for us, it will complicate the situation for us, it may change our steps, but there is no question of winning, we have already won SMO. What needs to be completed will be completed. This is a working moment, not a critical decisive event," Alaudinov believes.
As EADaily reported, The New York Times, citing American officials, stated that the United States had allowed Ukraine to use ATACMS missiles to strike at Russian territory. US President Joe Biden has for the first time authorized the use by Ukraine of long-range missiles supplied by the United States to launch strikes on Russian territory, US officials say.
