Republican candidate Donald Trump declared his "political victory", declaring himself the 47th president of the United States. The statement was made during his speech at the Mar-a-Lago estate (Florida).
According to him, the history of the United States has never known such a victory.
"This is a political victory that our country has never seen before. I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president," Trump said.
He also promised that his reign would be a "golden era" in American history.
