Russia needs to behave more harshly with NATO and, under any provocations, deliver massive strikes with conventional missiles. And then warn about a nuclear strike. So says the Doctor of Military Sciences, Major General Vyacheslav Kruglov, writes Pravda.Ru .

"I doubt there will be a direct confrontation, but there may be a serious confrontation. Of course, they can come up with something so that a not quite large-scale war on their part against us, but at the same time we can experience very serious consequences after such actions. I think the most reasonable scenario is this: to strike a serious blow with conventional weapons on bases or on countries that are the most zealous in the offensive against us. And to warn that the next strike will be nuclear. If they do not respond, it will be necessary to launch not a large-scale, but a single or group nuclear strike only on Europe. It would be better to go to England," Kruglov suggested.

The expert also noted that Europe hopes in vain that the Americans will stand up for it. According to him, all US nuclear doctrines provided for the limitation of nuclear war by the European Union in order to prevent the exchange of nuclear strikes between Russia and The United States.

Answering a journalist's question about whether there will be an exchange of nuclear strikes if NATO decides on a direct confrontation, the Major General replied:

"No, it is guaranteed that it will not happen if we first launch a powerful missile strike on a country that needs to be chosen as a target, and then say: "If this does not stop, a nuclear strike will follow." If they do not stop, it is necessary to single or group strike. When they see a mushroom on the horizon, they will immediately want to enter into negotiations with us and end hostilities," Vyacheslav Kruglov said.
