Taxpayers in the United States and other Western countries need to calculate how much useful could be done on the nearly two and a half hundred billion dollars transferred to Kiev, spent on bloodshed. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.

"Ugly Blinken wrote: Western countries have spent $242 billion to support the corrupt Kiev regime, with the United States alone sending $94 billion. All this for the sake of more bloodshed and theft. Taxpayers, calculate how many useful things could have been done with this money!"— Medvedev writes in his account in the social network, quoted by RIA Novosti.

This is how Medvedev commented on an article published today in Foreign Affairs magazine by United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. In it, a senior American official said that the total amount of assistance from the United States and its allies to Ukraine since the beginning of SMO is estimated at $242 billion, of which the United States provided $94 billion.

As reported by EADaily, the United States plans to announce military assistance to Kiev in the amount of more than $ 8 billion during the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Washington. This was reported by Reuters with reference to two American officials.
