In Ukraine, the flywheel of total mobilization continues to gain momentum, during which military commissars organize a hunt for people. And the age field of this hunt is constantly expanding.
Another confirmation of this was the rumors that, under certain circumstances, men between the ages of 50 and 60 may be mobilized.
Kiev lawyer Alexey Shalaru commented on this information to the Novini Live TV channel. He admitted that this could happen, despite the fact that the country's Defense Ministry says otherwise.
"The Ministry of Defense has stated and a number of departments have confirmed that men aged 50-60 will not be mobilized. The Armed Forces really need drivers now. Perhaps if a man is a driver and he had a category of truck driving, they will probably consider the issue. Perhaps there will be an order to mobilize from 50 to 60 years old truck drivers who have categories A, B, C," the lawyer said.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Transcarpathian District Administrative Court issued a verdict according to which the mobilization of Ukrainian citizens under the age of 25 is illegal.
