The current structure of public administration in the United States shows signs of a deep split, which leads to sending conflicting signals in the international arena and disrupting existing agreements. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Esmail Bagai, IRNA reports.
"Apparently, various factions operate within the American power structure, each of which follows its own course, being in constant interaction and competition with each other," the representative of the Foreign Ministry said.
According to Bagai, it is this internal struggle and the clash of polar interests that lead to Washington broadcasting "contradictory and confusing messages" on key international issues to the whole world.
The official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry also confirmed that the entire range of previously reached bilateral agreements, including points on the regime of navigation in The Strait of Hormuz and the unblocking of frozen Iranian assets abroad are currently completely suspended. The reason for this step by Tehran, as Bagai stressed, was Washington's failure to fulfill its obligations and renewed military strikes by the United States.
The diplomat described the decision-making system in the United States as "dispersed and fragmented," emphasizing that internal lobbying pressure groups are actually blocking the ability of the White House to comply with the signed agreements.
