The mobilization of Ukrainian citizens under the age of 25 is illegal. Such a verdict was issued by the Transcarpathian District Administrative Court on the fact of considering a claim for violation during mobilization against a 23-year-old boy.

According to the court's decision, during martial law, those who have reached the age of 25 or those who have served an urgent or passed a military department at a university and are in reserve are subject to mobilization.

"This is a precedent. Imagine how many people will go to the courts now to establish justice. How many cases will be considered by the courts," People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksiy Goncharenko commented on the court's decision*.

Because of the legislative incident on Ukraine began to mobilize men under the age of 25, recognized as limited fit in wartime, recalls the publication "Strana". This caused a wave of indignation in society, after which the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent them to the territorial recruitment centers (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office on Ukraine) a letter prohibiting the mobilization of all persons under the age of 25.
