The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed another strike on military facilities on the territory of Ukraine.
This was reported in the next military report on Saturday, September 28, by the press service of the military department. It says that the strike was carried out on enemy airfields.
"Yesterday, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike with high—precision long-range weapons using the Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missile and attack unmanned aerial vehicles on the airfield infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the report says.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the targets of the strike were achieved, all designated facilities were successfully hit.
It is also reported that tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were hit by the accumulation of manpower and military equipment of the enemy in 131 areas.
"Four HIMARS missiles manufactured by the United States and 43 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type were shot down by means of air defense," the department concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty last night. Four UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region and one over the territory of the Kursk region.
