Maxim Nikulin, General Director of the Moscow Circus Nikulina on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, assessed the actions of the director of the Great Moscow State Circus, Edgard Zapashny, against the background of the situation with the invitation to the Artist festival, the founder of the Australian circus festival, who supports Ukraine Jasmine Straga.
"Zapashny accuses her of Russophobia…This guard ... suffered so much that I don't even know," says Nikulin in a video posted by the telegram channel. News.ru .
At the same time, the son of the famous clown noted that he assumed a possible development of the situation with the Australian.
"I knew it would be like this, but it's impossible to this extent. In general, to initiate harassment of women, no matter what positions she stands in, is, so to speak, masculine," Nikulin sarcastically remarked.
He added that this is solely his opinion.
As reported by EADaily, Zapashny was the first to draw attention to the fact that Jasmine Stragi was invited to the jury of the Artist festival.
On her social media page, the Australian has been fervently supporting Ukraine from the very beginning of the special military operation, urging subscribers to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and does it regularly herself.
The Human Rights Center "Forty Sorokov" asked the Prosecutor General's Office to check the actions and Nikulina, and the Guards for compliance with the current legislation.
