Hunting for a man-eating bear has begun in Primorsky Krai

Hunters have received permission to shoot a bear, which is considered to be the cause of the death of two men in a summer cottage in Primorye. Now his search is underway in the vicinity of Luchegorsk.

On Monday, in SUSK, Primorsky Krai, RIA Novosti reported that a bear attacked two men in a country house in a village near Luchegorsk, both people died. According to the regional Ministry of Forestry, father and son were killed.

Also in this holiday village the day before the tragedy, a bear picked up a dog.

"Permission has been received to shoot a bear. Armed police officers are conducting raids on cars in order to prevent the bear from entering the village," the report says.

Residents are asked to be careful and vigilant, as well as to avoid visiting the first and second districts of Luchegorsk. Parents are asked to personally take and pick up children from school.
