The business partner of Latvian singer Laima Vaikule intends to take part of her Russian business from her through the court, which is still working. This is reported by the telegram channel Mash.
It is specified that back in the early 2000s, Vaikule and businessman Shiraz Mammadov created the LaimaLux Group company, whose Russian branch, Laima-Lux Rus LLC, has been operating to this day. The company is engaged in beauty salons and the sale of cosmetics, furniture and other accessories. The founders of LLC are Laimalukss SIA and Mammadov.
"In August 2022, Vaikule transferred her stake to Mammadov. She has 49%, he has 51%. Now, in September 2024, Mammadov filed a lawsuit to exclude Laimalukss SIA from the membership of the society. Since he does everything himself, which means there should be no other owners," the publication says.
As EADaily reported, a couple of years ago, in an interview, Vaikule stated that Alla Pugacheva, who fled the country, "contained the whole of Russia," and Vaikule herself contained the entire Soviet Union. Vaikule recalled that in Soviet times she collected stadiums of 45 thousand spectators, and at the same time received 17 rubles per concert, offering to calculate how much money she brought to the state.
