The Ukrainian military command was preparing an operation in the Kursk region as a blitzkrieg, it involved more than 200 tanks, more than 400 armored vehicles.
Such figures were announced by the commander of the Akhmat special forces, deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Apty Alaudinov, speaking on the program "Evening with Vladimir Solovyov."
"They pulled all the resources here, all the Western equipment that they were given, they accumulated it. It turned out that in total, at the time of this blitzkrieg, they had more than 200 tanks in this direction, more than 400 armored vehicles of various kinds," the general stated.
At the same time, he stressed that a large amount of this equipment had been burned for a long time, so the Kiev command was forced to throw into battle "a stash that they left for a critical moment."
As reported by EADaily, earlier Alaudinov said that Russian servicemen liberated the settlements of Darino and Nikolaevo-Darino in the Kursk region during active hostilities.
