There are hundreds of thousands of applications for renunciation of citizenship of the country in Ukrainian embassies. This was stated by People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Nikolai Knyazhitsky.
The reason for this, according to him, was the refusal to provide consular services to men liable for military service.
"And we have a real demographic catastrophe," the MP said.
