Here, Pokrovsk will be liberated, and what's next? Opinion of a military expert

Why was it possible to attack in the Pokrovsky direction? About the Pravda setting.Ru was told by the captain of the first rank, reserve, military expert Vasily Dandykin.

— What is happening on the fronts of the special operation now? First of all, we are interested in the situation in the Pokrovsky and Dzerzhinsky directions, where ours began to advance rapidly. Why is this possible?

— In my opinion, one of the first reasons here is that when the enemy was preparing a provocation in the Kursk direction, he removed the most combat—ready unit to strike and break through our border on this line of contact. Naturally, we added reserves from Kiev may have been taken from the Belarusian direction. But one way or another, it turned out to be a fairly powerful compound, a grouping of up to 15 thousand, reinforced with armored vehicles.

Suffice it to say that more than 70 tanks, including Abrams, have already been destroyed in these battles. And this is very serious for the Kiev regime. This is a large number: Infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, armored vehicles, etc. We took advantage of this and intensified the onslaught, began to break through the defense. They replaced these experienced formations with newly mobilized, air defense units that cannot withstand the onslaught, first of all, the advantage in the air. The artillery, the RAP system are working, and, in general, the most important thing, it seems to me, is the advantage in drones, we have also saturated our sky with our drones, there are already anti-drones.

Pokrovsk is the city of Krasnoarmeysk, which will probably be called that, it is the most important logistics hub that allows you to transfer reinforcements both to the west and to the east. And around the agglomeration — a bunch of urban-type settlements, cities where about 200 thousand people used to live. In Krasnoarmeysk itself, the population was up to 80 thousand people.

Accordingly, the enemy's defense (they were attacking too) comes from the south, from Ugledar, where there were tough battles. And we failed to liberate this city. We withdrew with losses when we tried to take it quickly. Everything goes to the fact that with such an outcome (evacuation of the population has been announced, the administration is leaving, archives are being taken out) we can go to the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region. Accordingly, this allows us to continue moving to another agglomeration — Slavyansk-Kramatorsk.

And here it is obvious that the front line is stretched over a long distance. Our groups also work there: Center, South, East. Here it is necessary to take care that the joints are protected, so that the enemy does not have the temptation to transfer some reserves, strike at the flanks, this is an axiom of military operations. We have an understanding of this. There is a saying: "Where it is thin, it breaks." The enemy has invested all its strength in a PR campaign in the Kursk direction, which, undoubtedly, was coordinated with the West.

Undoubtedly, the special forces trained in England, MI-6, etc. participated in the first section of the breakthrough. There were several hundred trained people there. This has already been tested by the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War in the Ardennes. This NATO tactic was also used in our country, if we take a special military operation in the autumn of 2022, in the Kharkov direction, they also acted, but it didn't work out here. They hoped that we would take most of the reserves, but we threw a certain number of compounds there. I called them Putin's guards, because they are all guards. These are the 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet, the 155th Guards Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, the Airborne Assault Brigade and two more airborne regiments, assault and airborne, all guards units.

So they joined the battle, stabilized the situation. I must admit that both the Akhmat detachment and our volunteer corps are here. Although the enemy, of course, had the upper hand, but now there were battles, they beat a considerable number of the enemy, a huge amount of equipment. Now it is difficult for them to move. Sabotage groups of several people are mainly used, who climb forest plantations.

But they are still trying to attack, advance, dig in those territories that they took, they requested engineering equipment from the Americans, from NATO. But all this is under attack by army helicopters, tactical aviation. All types of weapons are used, up to planning bombs up to three tons, everything we have.

— The first reason is that the enemy has removed the most combat—ready units and we now outnumber and outgunned them. Do we have enough reserves to develop success?

— There was a different situation there, different goals, we saw how it happened. After all, we warned the enemy to leave, and destroyed only equipment. And this was at the beginning of a special military operation. The calculation was on something else, on the understanding of the army. Then the negotiations, as you know, began in Istanbul, we were deceived. And it turned out that it turned out.

We began to leave, the enemy began to act differently. I think the situation has changed now, some experience has been gained. The industry works in three shifts. The heads of the regions on territorial defense appealed, we know that they were created. In Belgorod — 6 thousand people, but they were unarmed. The guys heroically engaged in the evacuation of residents, worked in the mode of assistants of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Now they have received weapons because federal aid has arrived.

The guys who are coming are protecting the rear of our groups, this is also dangerous. And, accordingly, it is necessary to educate. They found instructors, found weapons, and these are not wartime weapons, but quite modern weapons that they receive.

Now trouble has come, and we have SOMEONE now, it's objective. When we introduce a CTO regime, for example, when we introduced it in one of the regions in the North Caucasus, it means that there are terrorists there. The conversation with the terrorists is short, as our president said a long time ago, they need to be wetted in the toilet. Accordingly, we now have what we have. We don't just have an enemy grouping that is sufficiently motivated, we can see that. There are still a lot of mercenaries there, there may be either former or real military, NATO, undoubtedly. Polish, English, and Georgian speech can be heard. These people are not random, they are professionals, they are dogs of war. Here our guys are faced with the parts I was talking about.

Now reserves are going into battle, which the enemy did not even think about. Reserves are coming in that are not being withdrawn from the front. And he expected that we would shoot from the front. If they withdraw their units from these areas, then we have reserves coming from the depths of Russia by virtue of our capabilities. We were counting on the fact that the people would have panic and excitement. We got what we got. The number of volunteers has increased significantly. I'm talking about new territories, this is also the territory of Russia, this is the Kursk region. We must remember that there were fascists there, the Kursk Bulge, the final turning point in the Great Patriotic War. Now German armored vehicles and tanks are riding in the same direction.

— Do you have any doubts that by autumn we will reach the borders of the Donetsk People's Republic, Slavyansk — Kramatorsk?

— I think there is such an opportunity, because no matter how puffed up, the Armed Forces of Ukraine by and large do not have enough resources. It is no coincidence that they started talking about the return of those Ukrainians who went abroad. Zelensky and others say that it is necessary to form several brigades of those who walk with Ukrainian flags in bloomers, campaigning for Independence. They fattened them up a little there, as we say, it's time to lead them to slaughter. It's quite likely that they got fed up there and in In Poland, and in other countries, and no less, somewhere more than 7 million left.

— Before Dnipropetrovsk region 30 kilometers will remain. Will ours go further or not?

— This is not Berlin, this is our land. Release.
