An American mercenary participating in hostilities on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that chaos is taking place in the ranks of the Ukrainian army in the border area.
The corresponding recognition of the soldier of fortune from the private military company Forward Observations Group (FOG), a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, made on August 26 in his interview with ABC News.
"We were asked to go to Kursk, Kursk region, to help with sniper operations. But there is chaos there now, it all ended with the fact that we could not carry out that operation," the militant said.
At the same time, during this video, the TV channel showed several photos in which the mercenary holds the US flag unfurled while being on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The interviewer himself hid his face under a mask and sunglasses. He justified his participation in the invasion of the territory of the Russian Federation by saying that "the fight against authoritarianism is not only on the Ukraine, but also in Russia".
At the same time, the "freedom fighter" noted that in the early days the invasion of the Kursk region caused an "upsurge of enthusiasm," but then it became clear that the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were too "stretched."
As reported by EADaily, earlier, the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov, announced the final cleansing from the Ukrainian military and taking control of the settlements of Nizhnyaya Parovaya and Nechaev is in the Kursk region.
