As a result of a massive combined Russian strike on military and energy facilities on the territory of Ukraine, a hangar with two F-16 fighters was hit in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the Russian underground, told about this in his Telegram channel on Monday, August 26, with reference to his local associates.

He added that in addition to aircraft, foreign-made armored vehicles recently delivered for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were in the hangar.

"He arrives not only in the energy sector, in Ivano-Frankivsk in a hangar with recently brought equipment. According to the Resistance, two F-16s were hidden in Ivano-Frankivsk. There was a bang just in that direction," the coordinator said.

He added that the exact data will be known later. It is also noted that almost the entire Ivano-Frankivsk was without electricity and water, and part of the city was blocked by the military.

According to the underground, also in this city there was a hit in a container with fuel. Black smoke rises over Ivano-Frankivsk.

Residents are afraid of a repeat of recent history, when a hit occurred at a military warehouse with chemicals and a lot of chlorine got into the air.

Earlier, EADaily reported that the Czech company Inflatech presented an inflatable model of the F-16 fighter decorated with the emblem of the Ukrainian Air Force.
