Akhmat special forces have destroyed four units of equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region over the past day, as well as "a lot of infantry," said Major General Apty Alaudinov, deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry.
According to Alaudinov, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have stopped driving equipment into the Kursk region in the same quantity as before.
"Today there is one infantry fighting vehicle, one pickup truck, one truck, one gun, and one Baba Yaga calculation was also destroyed. One sniper was destroyed by the guys," he said in a video posted on his telegram channel.
Alaudinov added that "a lot of infantry" was destroyed in all areas.
On August 6, the Armed Forces of Ukraine invaded the territory of the Kursk region. Their progress was stopped. According to Valery Gerasimov, chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, the operation will end with the defeat of the enemy and access to the state border.
In the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions, a counter-terrorism operation regime is in place to ensure the safety of citizens.
