The militant was abandoned by his colleagues, he was detained while trying to return to the territory of Ukraine on his own.
"Employees of the border department of the FSB of Russia in the Kursk region in the Belovsky district, with the assistance of local residents, detained a serviceman of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the interrogation, the prisoner said that they were ordered to shoot everyone on the spot if the local population resisted. When entering the settlements of the Kursk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine engaged in looting and took with them everything they could carry,"the report says.
