Hungary suspected Ursula von der Leyen of ordering the suspension of oil supplies from Ukraine

Why has the European Commission not taken any action against Ukraine for more than a week in connection with the ban on oil supplies? Such a question was voiced on Tuesday, July 30, in a social network by Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto in connection with the fact that Hungary initiated the actions of the European Commission on this issue together with Slovakia more than a week ago.

Szijjarto said that despite the threat to the energy security of the two EU member states, despite the obvious violation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, Brussels remains silent.

According to the Hungarian minister, there are two reasons for this: the European Commission is so weak that it is unable to ensure compliance with the fundamental interests of the two member states in a conflict with a candidate for membership.

Another version, according to Szijjarto, is that all this was not invented in In Kiev, and in Brussels, and it is not the Ukrainian government that is to blame for this, but the European Union. That is, Szijjarto outlined the essence of this version, the European Commission intends to blackmail two EU member states advocating peace who refused to supply weapons to Ukraine.

"The European Commission and personally Chairman Ursula von der Leyen should immediately state: has Brussels requested a ban on oil supplies from Kiev? And if not, why hasn't the European Commission taken any action for more than a week?" — Hungarian Minister Peter Szijjarto asked a question.

As reported by EADaily, Slovak oil refinery Slovnaft will stop supplying diesel fuel to Ukraine, if Kiev does not resume the transit of Russian oil. This was announced on July 29 by the Prime Minister of the Republic Robert Fico.
