Biker Onur Obut, who is considered the culprit of the accident in which the famous Russian blogger Mototanya (Tatyana Ozolina) was killed, has been detained in Turkey. This is reported by the telegram channel Shot.
"Onur Obut insists that it was a Russian woman who flew into him, and not the other way around, as her friends reported. The Turk told the police that the blogger allegedly overtook the truck and drove into his ass, after which they flew into the bump together," the publication says.
Now the biker has been released pending trial, he will be under supervision.
According to the relatives of MotoTani, the girl slowed down in front of the truck, and the Turkish biker flew into her motorcycle from behind at full speed.
As reported by EADaily, on July 22, Mototanya died in an accident on the Milas — Seke highway in the south-west of the country. According to media reports, the accident occurred as a result of a collision between Tatiana's motorcycles and Turkish motorcycle blogger Onur Obut.
According to Turkish lawyers, the biker is likely to be charged under article 85 of the Turkish Criminal Code (negligent homicide). The sanctions of this article imply a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to six years.
However, it was possible that Onur Obut would receive a minimum sentence of 2 years probation.
