The strategic alliance of Armenia and Russia is based on glorious combat traditions and common cultural values and is geopolitically important for the region, Ambassador of Russia to Armenia Ivan Volynkin said in a message on the occasion of the Day of Russia.
“Our nations have always respected each other and will certainly do it in future. Now that we are facing complicated international processes, we need a strong and independent Russia, a country that will be able to defend its national interests and the interests of its allies and to guarantee peace and security in Eurasia,” Volynkin said, the Russian embassy told EADaily.
