The publication says that 38 enforcement proceedings have been opened against the actor. As EADaily reported, Russian law enforcement officers had previously appealed to the authorities of Latvia, where Smolyaninov allegedly lives ❶❷, with a request to assist in the investigation of the criminal case initiated against him. Criminal proceedings against the artist were initiated on the fact of spreading fakes about the army and inciting hatred.
It was also brought to the attention of the Latvian authorities that the Basmanny Court of Moscow at the end of October decided to arrest the actor in absentia from the moment of his extradition to the territory of the Russian Federation or from the moment of his detention in Russia.
