The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that the end of the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine should start with the restoration of trust.
As UNIAN reports, the corresponding statement was made by the "overdue" Ukrainian president during a meeting with European leaders in Kiev.
It follows from his words that the key step on this path could be the release of all prisoners.
"Ukraine is ready for a fair exchange of "all for all." This could be a step towards ending the war," Zelensky said.
He also advocated that Ukraine, Europe and The United States has been negotiating together with Russia to reach a peaceful settlement acceptable to all.
Recall that today, on February 24, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the representative of the European Council, Antonio Costa, arrived in Kiev during a planned visit.
As EADaily reported, earlier, the head of the European Council, Antonio Costa, announced his intention to hold a meeting of the heads of state and government of the EU countries on March 6. The event is designed to demonstrate a common commitment to "strengthening European defense and making a decisive contribution to peace on our continent and the long-term security of Ukraine."
