Israel was involved in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack in the United States. This was stated by Iranian professor Mohammad Marandi in an interview on the podcast of American journalist Piers Morgan.
According to him, immediately after the September 11 attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that this was "good for Israel."
He also referred to reports of people who, according to him, were Israelis and dancing, celebrating what happened. These reports have been the subject of discussion in various conspiracy circles for many years.
He supported his thought with the statement that, in his opinion, the Zionist regime is capable of such actions, since it commits them against the Palestinians. This is his personal conclusion, not a proven fact.
Earlier, Marandi warned that Israel could stage a new terrorist attack similar to 9/11 in order to provoke a war against Iran and put the responsibility on Iran.
