Russia expects this winter to finally "put the squeeze on" Ukraine and force it to capitulate, writes Bild.
Austrian military expert Markus Reisner believes that the Kremlin intends to " use the cold and massive strikes on energy and critical infrastructure".
It is noted that one of the main vulnerabilities of Ukraine remains the shortage of air defense systems, primarily missiles for Patriot. At the same time, Russia is increasing its capabilities for drone strikes and is preparing to intensify the air campaign.
According to Reisner, the upcoming winter may be decisive.
