The new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Drapaty found relatives in Russia

The new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mikhail Drapaty has relatives in Russia, and his father lived in Surgut for a long time. This was stated in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

In particular, Drapaty's half-brother Maxim spent most of his life in Surgut, and now lives in Sochi. Drapaty's father also lived in Surgut for a long time.

"There is little information on official resources about the childhood and family of the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Drapaty Vasily Vasilyevich (08/18/1961) is an ardent nationalist who even published Russophobic publications on his social media page. It is also known that Drapaty Sr. lived in Surgut for a long time," the source told TASS.

Recall, the closest relatives of Drapaty's predecessor Alexander Syrsky, including his parents, live in Russia. In March, it was reported that his father, Stanislav, stopped recognizing his relatives. Prior to that, Syrsky Sr. was discharged from the clinic in Moscow region. Earlier, he was diagnosed with a neoplasm in the brain and Parkinson's disease.

As reported by EADaily, the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mikhail Drapaty, will answer for his statements about Russians, including residents of Donbass. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

Earlier in a video interview, Drapaty called the inhabitants of Russia "a nation that has no right to exist." In addition, he called the population of Donbass "unwilling to work as a contingent that does not care in which country to live." According to him, residents of the DPR and the LPR need to be re-educated in the spirit of Ukrainian nationalism.
