Abnormal heat is predicted in the Kurgan and Novosibirsk regions, the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia reported.
"Abnormal heat is expected on the weekend from July 11 to 12 in the Kurgan region, where daytime temperatures will reach up to plus 37 degrees. And from July 11 to July 14, abnormally hot weather will take place in the Novosibirsk region in the Altai Territory," the agency said in a statement on its website.
The Hydrometeorological Center added that high, sometimes extreme fire danger on July 11 will be in the south-west of the Volga Federal District, and from July 11 to 13 in the east of the Arkhangelsk region, Komi, Southern Federal District, Donetsk People's Republic, Stavropol Territory, Tomsk region, in the west of the Altai, north of the Krasnoyarsk Territories, in Tuva, in the west of the Irkutsk region, in Yakutia, in the north of the Khabarovsk Territory and in Kamchatka region.
