In Sevastopol, military and mobile firing groups repelled a combined attack all night. The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the city with various air assets, previously, and Storm Shadow missiles.
This was announced in his Telegram channel on Wednesday morning, May 27, by the governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhaev. According to him, more than 20 UAVs were shot down in the area of the North Side, Fiolent, Sevastopol Bay and Omega Bay.
According to preliminary data, none of the people were injured. At the same time, the Sevastopol Rescue Service recorded the following enemy arrivals:
- On Lastovaya, a rocket hit the building of the Southern Department of the Central Bank. The roof is on fire. In neighboring houses, the blast wave damaged windows and balconies.
- On Lastovaya Square, an 8-storey apartment building was damaged by the shock wave, the facade, windows and balconies were damaged.
- In the area of Gogol Street, according to the preliminary version, a rocket also damaged an administrative building that had not been used for a long time.
However, neighboring residential apartment buildings suffered. Windows were damaged there from the shock wave, and the extent of the damage is currently being clarified.
The governor urged the townspeople not to approach the wreckage of missiles and drones, and in case of their detection, immediately report by number 112. He assured that the rescue services promptly respond to all messages and go to the place.
Earlier, EADaily reported that land and sea passenger transport in Sevastopol temporarily does not work. This was announced by the Directorate for the Development of road transport infrastructure of the city.
