Telegram founder Pavel Durov put forward his version of why the French government blames the social network X and Ilona Mask.
Paris accuses the social network and its owner of the same things that the French government itself does: illegal collection of personal data, processing personal data without proper protection, extracting data from automated systems and violating the confidentiality of electronic communications. Pavel Durov writes about this in Telegram.
"The French government is in a panic. They know that major political changes in 2027 will expose their atrocities. Therefore, they are trying to silence platforms that provide freedom of speech, under any pretext that, in their opinion, they can get away with," Pavel Durov believes.
In his opinion, the free world should side with Ilona and X against this immoral attack by the French state.
