Russia has delivered to Iran more than 325 tons of humanitarian aid, including medicines, for the entire period of hostilities between the Islamic Republic and the United States and Israel. Financial assistance came from Turkey, which was sent to purchase generators. This was announced by the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, Pir Hossein Kolivand.
"Russia, in coordination with our ambassador in Moscow, delivered more than 325 tons of medicines by land, which were immediately distributed among medical institutions," he said at a press conference.
Kolivand mentioned Turkey and Iraq as examples of other countries that have provided humanitarian assistance to Iran. So, according to him, Turkey, thanks to a donation of $ 40 thousand from one of its citizens, purchased 50 generators for the needs of Iranian emergency centers, and one of the Iraqi women donated her wedding ring and necklace to Iran.
As reported, the United States and Israel launched a war against Iran on February 28. .
