US President Donald Trump "attacked" Israel for an attack on a gas field in Iran. He expressed his indignation in a post on his page on the Truth Social social network.

"Israel, enraged by the events in the Middle East, has dealt a powerful blow to a large facility — the South Pars gas field in Iran. As a result of the attack, only a small part of this deposit was damaged. The United States was not aware of this attack, and Qatar did not participate in its organization and did not know about its preparation. Unfortunately, Iran was not aware of the incident and did not have access to the relevant facts regarding the attack on South Pars. As a result, he mistakenly and unfairly attacked a section of the Qatar liquefied natural gas plant," Trump wrote.

He promised that Israel would no longer attack "this extremely important and valuable South Pars field," unless, in his words, Iran unwisely decides to attack "a very innocent Qatar." In this case, Trump added, the United States of America, with or without the consent of Israel, will massively blow up the entire South Pars gas field "with such force and power that Iran has never seen before."

"I do not intend to endorse such acts of violence and destruction, given their long-term consequences for the future of Iran. However, if Qatar's LNG is attacked again, I am ready for decisive action. Thank you for your attention to this important issue," Trump concluded.
