In Russia, a terrorist and extremist association was recognized, which includes the creators of Yashkino and Kirieshek, Denis Shtengelov and his father Nikolai Shtengelov.
The relevant information appeared on the website of Rosfinmonitoring.
"The association, whose members are Denis Nikolayevich Shtengelov, born on 05/14/1972, a native of Tomsk, and Nikolay Vasilyevich Shtengelov, born on 07/28/1951, a native of the Zaporozhye region," the announcement says.
The Shtengelovs are suspected of financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, Shtengelov's father created on Ukraine has its own paramilitary unit.
It served as the personnel basis for the creation of Nazi armed formations. At the same time, Shtengelov Jr. supplies food and other goods to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
Recall that in September 2025, bailiffs began the process of arresting the property of Nikolai and Denis Shtengelovs, who own the KDV food holding, which owns the rights to the Yashkino and Kirieshki brands.
And in October 2025, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow recovered the KDV Group holding owned by Shengelov Jr. to the income of the Russian Federation. The decision was made without the presence of the defendants, as the Shtengelov father and son left Russia more than 10 years ago and currently reside in Australia.
The prosecution believes that the entrepreneurs turned the enterprises of the KDV holding "into an instrument of causing economic damage to the Russian Federation and a source of financing terrorism."
