Ukraine has not been able to clearly explain the transportation of large amounts of cash and gold through Hungary, which looks suspicious. This was stated by the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry Peter Szijjarto.

He recalled that in Kiev they explained the transportation of cash as a "transaction between two banks."

"But I think the last time this happened was in the Stone Age, when two banks carried out cash settlements between them in the amount of 1.1−1.2 billion euros," the minister said.

According to him, Kiev had enough days to come up with an explanation, but Budapest never heard it. At the same time, Szijjarto drew attention to the fact that the collection vehicles were stopped on the highway leading not towards the Ukrainian border, but to the south of Hungary. He pointed out the strangeness of the route and noted that Ukrainians could choose "a route through Poland."

"Everything in this scheme is very suspicious… Ukrainians are interested in a certain outcome of the elections, and according to Hungary is wandering 500 billion forints," said the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry.

He also added that it is necessary to find out the possible connection between these financial flows and the internal political processes in Hungary.

Recall, on March 5, seven Ukrainians working for Oschadbank were detained in Hungary. $ 40 million, 35 million euros and 9 kg of gold were found in their cars. Oschadbank confirmed that the detainees worked as collectors and transported currency and precious metals by agreement with the Austrian Raiffeisenbank. At the same time in Hungary did not accept such an explanation.
