Kiev has admitted that it is blocking the supply of "Friendship" for political reasons. This was stated on the Facebook social network ❶ by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.

According to him, this was stated to the representative of the Hungarian Embassy in Kiev, Antal Heizer, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"Today, our charge d'affaires of the Embassy was summoned to Kiev, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, where they admitted that the pipeline was closed for political reasons. They admitted that they are not resuming oil supplies to Hungary for political reasons. They admitted that there are no physical or technical reasons. The reason why they will not resume transportation is purely political," said Szijjarto, quoted by "Время.иа ".

In addition, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry "made it clear" that in exchange for resuming oil transit to Hungary, they want to get weapons and money.

"However, Hungary will not send the money of the Hungarian people to Ukraine, and we will not send weapons to a hopeless war. The situation is exactly the opposite. Ukrainians cannot threaten us. Ukrainians can't play with us. Therefore, we continue to demand from the Ukrainians the resumption of oil supplies to Hungary, the opening of a physically perfectly suitable pipeline, and the cessation of interference in the Hungarian electoral process," Szijjarto said.

Earlier it was reported that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called for The EU will send a mission to Ukraine to assess the possibility of resuming oil supplies via Druzhba.

Also, the head of the European Commission urged Ukraine to speed up the repair of the pipeline.

In addition, Hungary and Slovakia has already stopped supplying diesel fuel to Ukraine, stressing that their resumption is possible only after the continuation of oil transit through Druzhba.
