The Russian Armed Forces plan to enter the administrative borders of Donbass by the end of March. This was stated by the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Pavlo Palisa.
In addition, according to him, Russia wants to create conditions for operational success in the Zaporozhye direction and form buffer zones in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions with further progress.
"In case of possible success by the end of the year, the enemy will try to develop an offensive to capture or create conditions for capturing Zaporozhye, Kherson, Nikolaev and later Odessa. I do not see at the moment the possibility of the enemy implementing these plans in the next six months," Palisa said, quoted by UNIAN.
As EADaily reported, Odessa and Kharkov are historically Russian cities, everyone speaks Russian there, and therefore the Russian Federation is quite rightly considering the possibility of their liberation. This opinion was expressed in an interview with the YouTube channel Judge Napolitano - Judging Freedom by the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, retired US Army Colonel Douglas MacGregor.
