If someone says they are tired of the conflict on Ukraine, therefore, does not care about the future. This was stated by President Peter Pavel at the event "Together for Ukraine!".
"This is our war, too," he said.
Speaking at the Old Town Square, Pavel thanked everyone who supports Kiev, including financially.
"Her fate cannot be indifferent to us, those who have experienced something like this," he said.
According to him, "we defend Ukraine not as a nation, but as a principle — so that small and medium-sized countries are not subjected to pressure from the big ones and can decide their own fate." He also said that the conflict could end at any time if Vladimir Putin wants it.
"I hope that our government understands that the future of Ukraine will affect us as well. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain it until a just peace is achieved," Pavel said.
Recall, the Czech authorities have always advocated military and other support for Ukraine. However, the new government of Andrei Babish decided to help Kiev only in the humanitarian sphere. Prague is not going to send military aid to the Kiev regime yet.
