The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine advised Hungary and Slovakia to issue ultimatums to Moscow

Kiev condemned the ultimatums of Hungary and Slovakia on the termination of electricity supplies in case of non-resumption of oil transit through the Druzhba pipeline. This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called these intentions irresponsible.

"Such actions in the context of massive and targeted Russian shelling of Ukraine's energy infrastructure and Moscow's attempts to leave Ukrainians without electricity, heating and gas during extreme frosts are provocative, irresponsible and endanger the energy security of the entire region. Thus, the Government of Hungary and Slovakia is not only playing along with the aggressor, but also causing damage to its own energy companies that supply energy on a commercial basis," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement, which quoted "Время.иа ".

Kiev called on the Hungarian authorities and Slovakia is committed to constructive interaction and responsible behavior.

"Ultimatums should be sent to the Kremlin, not to Kiev," they concluded.

As EADaily reported, Slovakia in an ultimatum form demanded that the Kiev regime resume the supply of Russian oil to the country via the Druzhba pipeline. The corresponding statement was published on social networks by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico on February 21. He threatened to cut off the power supply to Ukraine in case Kiev does not comply with the requirement.

Today, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said at a rally in the city of Bekescaba that Hungary could stop supplying electricity to Kiev if it does not resume the transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline.
