The developers of FPV fiber-optic drones at the Drontech exhibition held in Moscow confirmed the equipping of Russian drones with lightweight coils for wired Cake UAVs. Details are provided by TASS.
The novelty was tested on the basis of the UAV 52, after which the engineers confirmed that the Cake was 10% lighter than its counterparts.
"The product is distinguished by reduced requirements for the training of UAV operators. It is resistant to shocks and vibrations, allows sharp maneuvers," the testers noted.
Plus, the special wire winding technology significantly reduces the likelihood of fiber breakage. Operation of the product is possible at temperatures from minus 20 to 40 degrees Celsius.
EADaily previously also informed that the "most terrible weapon" of Moscow has been identified, which Western experts are talking about.
