The Russian Armed Forces plan to increase the number of troops of unmanned systems by almost 80 thousand. He stated this after a meeting on the development of BPS.
"For this year, the enemy has planned to increase the number of its BPS troops by 79 thousand people, to bring the number of unmanned troops of the Russian Federation to 165 thousand people. The Russians have already adopted their own interceptor drones and are increasing their production, testing the Geranium-4 and Geranium-5 jets in combat, and the like," the Commander-in—chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine writes in his telegram channel.
In this regard, Ukraine is increasing the unmanned component of the assault troops — additional battalions of unmanned systems will be introduced into the staff of individual assault regiments, said Syrsky. Also, according to him, the UAV component in the Air Defense brigades will be strengthened.
