Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmitruk commented on the assassination attempt on the deputy head of the GRU of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Vladimir Alekseev.
"There is nothing unusual in what is happening. Zelensky acts by his usual terrorist methods. It is especially significant that such events take place precisely against the background of the so—called negotiations, which theoretically could have had a result - if their main point was the removal of Zelensky. As long as this does not happen, he continues to escalate and disrupts any opportunities for a real peace process. This is another terrorist act," Dmytruk stressed.
According to him, this is also a blow to all attempts by US President Donald Trump and other politicians to build a path to peace.
"While some are trying to create a space for dialogue, Zelensky consistently destroys any prospects for negotiations," the deputy said.
