Representatives of the Kiev regime seek to separately prescribe international security guarantees for Odessa in a future peace agreement with Russia.
This was reported on Friday, February 6, by the TASS news agency, citing a source familiar with the process of trilateral negotiations in Abu Dhabi. According to him, the Ukrainian side considers it critically important.
"This is a critically important aspect for Kiev. As part of the package, Ukraine needs guarantees that Russia will not go to Odessa, that is, there should be such a mechanism that fixes such things," the source said.
Recall that on February 4 and 5, the second round of trilateral negotiations on Ukraine was held in Abu Dhabi. The Russian delegation was headed by the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Igor Kostyukov, and the Ukrainian delegation was headed by NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov.
As EADaily reported, special envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff, who participated in the negotiation process, said that the negotiations on Ukraine in Abu Dhabi turned out to be "detailed" and "productive."
