For the restoration of Darnitskaya CHP in Kiev will need at least 2 months. This was stated by the mayor of the capital of Ukraine Vitali Klitschko.
"Currently, experts conclude that the facility has suffered critical damage and the restoration of its systems and equipment will take at least two months. (If there are no further crushing blows of the enemy)," Klitschko writes in his telegram channel.
According to him, the CHP provided heat supply in more than 1,100 high-rise buildings in the Darnitsky and Dneprovsky districts of Kiev, it is not possible to provide these houses with heat now.
"DTEK organizes the most loyal power supply schedules for houses without heating in Darnitsky and Dneprovsky districts," Klitschko added.
As EADaily reported, Denis Shmyhal and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited one of the attacked Kiev thermal power plants. The Minister of Energy of Ukraine reported this in his telegram channel.
