90% of all missiles for the air defense of Ukraine are purchased by European countries from the United States and supplied to Kiev under the PURL program. This was announced by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
"Along the PURL line, we have poured into Ukraine billions of dollars of military aid. 90% of all air defense missiles for Ukraine are supplied under this program," Rutte said, stressing that these military supplies and training of the Ukrainian army are coordinated by the NATO command in Wiesbaden.
The NATO Secretary General promised that the bloc would continue to intensively sponsor Kiev's military efforts, TASS quoted.
His speech is broadcast by the official YouTube channel of the Ukrainian parliament.
As reported by EADaily, the next round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations mediated by the United States on the settlement of the Ukraine will be held in Abu Dhabi on February 4-5. Today in Kiev Rutte noted that the end of the conflict on Ukraine will require Kiev to make "difficult decisions."
