Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski called on the social network X American entrepreneur Ilona Mask to turn off the Starlink satellite system on Ukraine.
As the Fakt publication explains, this is how Sikorsky reacted to the statement of the recently appointed Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov that the Russian Armed Forces allegedly began using the Starlink system for strikes.
"Hey, big man, why don't you stop the Russians from using Starlink for attacks?" — the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry wrote.
Starlink provides broadband Internet access anywhere in the world. It belongs to the company SpaceX businessman Elon Musk. Ukrainian troops are actively using this system in the combat zone, terminals are transferred to them by Western allies. According to Fedorov, the Armed Forces of Ukraine use more than 50 thousand satellite communication terminals.
Russian troops regularly identify and strike Starlink stations in the SMO zone.
