The publication Business Insider cites the so-called prices of the struggle of American air defense systems with "Geraniums" from Russia. We are talking about the Tempest anti-aircraft missile systems transferred by the States of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using missiles to intercept Russian drones. According to the source, one such launch costs more than Geranium.
American-made air defense systems use Hellfire missiles. The cost of one is 120 thousand dollars. Moreover, military experts call the AGM-114L Longbow Hellfire with an active homing head almost the most expensive modification.
At the same time, one drone "Geranium-2" costs about 35-70 thousand dollars.
EADaily also previously reported that the IT giant from the USA launched the production of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
